In August 2018, the Anglican diocese of Kitale, shortly after celebrating its 21st anniversary, witnessed the second major phase of its historical development with the retirement of our first diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Stephen Kewasis Nyorsok and the election of the Second Bishop Rt. Rev Dr. Emmanuel Chemengich.
During the consecration and enthronement of Bishop Emmanuel as the Second Bishop on 7th October 2018 marked the official launch of the new phase of our diocese. In his Bishop’s charge he expressed the urgent need to set up a strategic plan document to guide our operations for the first 5 years of this second phase towards the realization of our collective ministry mandate.
The Bishop’s vision and desire was fulfilled with the launch of the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan on 3rd March 2019. This Strategic Plan incorporates the 5 strategic pillars namely, Spirituality, Stewardship, Servant Leadership, Strategy and Society Transformation, as the core factors shaping its strategic direction and implementation framework. In addition, the newly formulated Vision and Mission Statements and Core values gives our diocese new impetus and energy to usher the new phase of our diocesan development.Follow the link below to download a copy of Our Diocesan strategic Plan.
